Welcome back all new and returning students, at both the Danielson and Windham Tech locations!

Roxy HuckabyI hope you all enjoyed the summer and you are looking forward to a great year at QVCC.  I’ve really enjoyed getting to work with the Student Government Association  and this year I return as the SGA President.   I want to invite everyone to participate around campus in the many events that we have planned for the year. We are also always looking for more students to get involved with Student Government and would love to see you at one of our meetings.  Our meetings this fall will be on Mondays at Noon in W200 (Reading Room) of the Danielson campus!

One of the best things I have done in my time at QVCC is get involved. It has helped me to find my interests, meet new people, and get the most out of my time at QVCC. So, what puts the “community” in Community College? For me, it’s the one-on-one relationships I form with my professors, the friendships I’ve built through student engagement and organizations, and friendships that continue beyond graduation. For example, recently I was able to be the maid of honor in my friend’s wedding, whom I met at QVCC and worked with while she was Student Government President.

When I’m not in classes or working with Student Government, find me at the Student Success Center , the hub for advising, financial aid, career services and student activities.

Stop in. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
